One of the main goals of the COINS project was the definition of a domain ontology based on CIDOC-CRM, the standard ontology for Cultural Heritage to be used for the creation of standardized inventories. All the documentation is freely available and can download from this section.



COINS Domain Ontology
This Excel document contains the description of the new ontology created by the COINS project for the semantic encoding of coin collections
